Successfully completed Meredith's Birthday Checklist!

I. Visit the Dallas World Aquarium
-rekindle childlike sense of wonder and amazement
-watch the otter feeding
-scowl at the Madagascar giant millipede
-be entranced by the moon jellyfish & flashlightfish
-boggle at the sea turtles (they're HUGE!)
-commune with the manatees
-squee at the sloth
-watch the underwater flight of the spotted eagle rays
-exchange suspicious glances with a shoebill

II. Eat Delicious Tacos
-Velvet Taco has delicious tacos
-their margaritas are powerful and full of lime
-if you are a fan of mushrooms, try the #4: wild mushrooms, herb goat cheese, onion chutney, purple potatoes, micro greens, lettuce wrap
-if you are not a fan of mushrooms, you may prefer the #8: roast pulled pork, house shred, thai basil, grilled pineapple-habanero salsa, spiked bbq sauce, corn tortilla
-seriously, you just need one margarita

III. Venture to LUSH, which is Meredith's Favorite Store Ever
-get gratuitous hand massages from customer-service-oriented employees
-banter with said employees about a multitude of products
-be seduced by lovely girly scented things
-smell all the soaps, massage bars, and bath bombs
-get free cupcakes from employees cos it's Mer's birthday
-leave the store with goody bag for Mer

IV. One Last Thing
-go to Sundown at the Granada
-get a s'mores dessert shot
-woo, tableside flaming marshmallow!

Meredith continued partying.  I went to sleep.

She and I went climbing yesterday, though - her second time ever!  I'm SO proud of her!!  She's rocking the wall, no pun intended, and she's really enjoying it.  Muahahaha, another soul corrupted.  Join me in the vertical revolution.  Yeeeeees.
